I can't remember which painting it was with the webs... haha!! I've been flitting about on too many different pics lately. I think you meant the black one Shadow of Light and no I haven't finished it yet. I'm trying to sort out the clutter in my studio as it's got 'out of hand' now.

Well wouldn't you know that that's the very first thing I wanted to know, too. "How do I make it PRETTY?!?!?". Being that this place is ALL about suiting your needs as an artist, you can customize virtually everything that has to do with you. This brings myriad options in terms of how exactly one customizes their pages. I see you already found the default skins, so I'll skip that one. Emotion: wink.gif

Option 1) click Customize, then choose "CSS" on the right side of the top Nav Bar. From there, let the eye-crossing foray into graphics and code begin! It's four times more complex in code than Journals are over at dA. So it might take you a bit to go through it all.

You can Customize your CSS on fly, any time you like by using that editor, as well as having the option to export your CSS to an XML file to save for later should you wanna change your look but keep the old code.

Option 2) is to choose one of these three very nice (however not quite you) skins that are available in the Skins > artician Gallery: Uzziel , iStalker, or Uzziel Dark.

(when I started, I grabbed the Uzziel Dark and began learning the code here from that one. Pretty much I just swapped out all the graphics for my own... but now I've pretty much got the code down and have my own template.)

Option 3) Find someone who is familiar with the coding (like me), that you can trust (like me), and is a artist who is good enough to make your page what you want it to be (like me), and commission his ass to do it. And if, for example, you're friends with him (like you are) he might be able to charge you a little less than he's charged everyone else. And then you just get to kick back and wait for it to fall into your lap without much work at all.

How's that for help!?

By the way, your portfolio is looking hawt, here. Nice to see more work getting put in. Yum!

you maaaaade ittttttt. *glomps you*
If you need anything, looks like everyone else has you covered. However, if you feel stupid asking them... ask me, and I'll help you to feel just a little stupider before you feel smarter. 'cause I'm good like that. W00t!

I was so lost when I started.... but I have it all down now, so just yell if you need something. The tour is a bit helpful if you haven't done that. Emotion: wink.gif

and I noticed some of your work has the dA watermark but some doesn't.... are you using the importer or going one by one? I'm just curious....
